Red Haired Study Revised

I put this one on the CG Talk Forums and got some good feedback and advice regarding the back of the lady’s head. I’m going to call this one officially finished now because I need to work on other things.

Wanted a finished yet sketchy look.
All done with my custom brushes, mostly the pencil, course water brush and dry media brushes.

I’m on a roll.

Well, sort of.

Here’s a more detailed and smoother rendered style study I did today. I took about 2 and a half hours on it or so.

Angelina the elf. I might have made the lips a bit too big. I’m going to practice more often, I need it.

Practice and fun…

I’m useless as blog titles.

This is a study I’ve done today. It’s not really anything I want to finish yet, I’m not sure what it is really. I took some inspiration from a pose in one of Mucha’s illustrations, then just made the rest up.

More Montages

I’ve uploaded another montage video on the Banshee I did recently.  You can see it on the work in progress video montage page.

I think I’ll be brushing up on my anatomy skills today and learn a bit more about wrinkles and drapery as well.

Updates to the resources pages and WIP

I’ve updated the resources pages and the work in progress section. In the resources section I have made a pdf. file of a mind map I made for digital painting tips.

I’ve also put a video montage of the Sharon Stone study from the last post in the work in progress section.

Here is a quick study I made yesterday of a princess I saw in a museum in France this year.
