An asrai is a type of water fairy from around Shropshire. They are very small and are female in appearance. Apparently they live for hundreds of years, but if sunlight touches them they dissolve into pools of water. They have long green hair and webbed feet and hands.

Quick concepts, no reference used yet, I’ll have to decide what they are going to wear at least.

Funny Faces of Mermaid thingys

Don’t know where these come from really, just listening to my music and channeling some random faces as usual. I was reading about the mythology and origin of Norse elves (Alfar) last night so I think it might have something to do with that. The book always sends me straight to sleep though.
